High school students can learn about competitive, high-paying career opportunities and meet with potential employers at Worlds of Work (WOW) Varsity.

High school students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend WOW Varsity Thursday, October 11 from 2 to 7 p.m. High school groups are also encouraged to attend with their educators. Students have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals about high-growth, high-demand jobs in our region and how they can earn these jobs in the future. No RSVP required. Admission is free.

High school seniors who attend WOW Varsity will be entered to win a free semester of tuition to Shelton State Community College or Bevill State Community College.

This event is held in conjunction with Worlds of Work (WOW), a career expo for 8th grade students. The middle school portion is only open to schools in the district West Alabama Works serves and is not open to the general public.
