West AlabamaWorks! is hiring a Demopolis Workforce Center Coordinator. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading the outreach efforts, partnership development and day to day management of the Demopolis Workforce Center and serve on the grant implementation team for the WORC grant.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing grassroots outreach events across the Blackbelt counties for the purpose of recruiting individuals for programs, services, and moving them towards employment.
- Work with WAW Navigators to ensure individuals are moving through the workforce development system.
- Recruit employers that will engage with West AlabamaWorks!, and hire from training programs that are part of our strategy and processes.
Job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong public speaking skills
- Adaptable to change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
