Adopt-A-School is pleased to announce that Alabama Power is a new adopter for Davis-Emerson Middle School. 

AlabamaPower will resume its “iCan” engineering program with the 7^th grade girls.  According the iCan website, the program was created in 2008 “to encourage girls in middle school to pursue careers in the field of engineering by sparking their interest in math and science”. The partnership also plans to participate in mock interviews and career fairs, support efforts that increase attendance and parental involvement.

ARD Logistics-Alabama, LLC is also partnered with Davis-Emerson.
